They meet Unni (Mohanlal), another jobless young man. Reluctantly Unni joins the other two and try to rob from a car owned by Guruji (Madhu). They get caught but Guruji takes them to his plantation and gifts them 10,000 rupees each under the condition that they need to meet him a year later at the same place and tell him what they did with the money.
