It tells the story of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, a Redemptorist missionary priest who served in the United States during the Civil War era. His powerful intercession for God's healing power helped countless people with terminal illnesses and injuries. He was also an outstanding minister to souls in need of God's tender mercy. There was always a long line to see him for the Sacrament of Penance, and one woman expressed that he could see right into her heart when she went to him for confession.
